Guardian angels, spirit guides

Q: What are they and why are there so many entities backing one body?

A: Let’s take the guardian for example. The guardian guards. It is a “system” rather than something humans would imagine as a separate body. In systems terms the system is uncoupled, so it can be identified as a different system from the main driver.

The reason the system must be relatively uncoupled is because of the nature of the physical reality. It has a tendency to make a soul crazy. The main driver that wants to kill itself is countered by the guardian and the guardian is able to do so because of the uncoupled nature. And thus it feels like a separate entity.

Self-imposed constraints of logic

I'm actually pretty good at making logical arguments that have a correct conclusion. People may think that's because I'm logical, but generally the trick is to have good intuition. If you have the correct conclusion, you can easily work backwards and back-fill the logic.

I didn't always provide the arguments to my conclusions, before I picked up the habit of *being rational*, I just often gave the intuitive conclusion without explanation.

The rational explanation is a useful skill for persuasion (and sometimes to double check myself), but it is also a self-imposed limitation to my abilities to intuit.

i.e. if there's no apparent connection between the situation and an outcome, then limiting myself to rational explanations means that I can't give a correct conclusion.

I will probably have to learn to lift this limit somehow. Otherwise my abilities are incomplete.

Sacrificial magic

Q: "If abundance is natural, why have magic users from past millennia used sacrificial methods instead?"

A: If the intended effect does not lead to abundance but instead deprivation, then obviously the ritual performed must be depriving in nature. This is why when you intend to take from others you get less, and why when you give you gain more.

 

Goodest logic

There is like, a really weird logical argument about choice and free will (tangentially related to manifestation).

So let's say A and B are discussing about metaphysics.

A: It's all just a matter of choosing, B. You can be anything you want, do anything you want! The world is simply a collection of possibilities, waiting to be plucked.

B: So why do I feel that I have so few options?

A: If you choose one thing, you lose the option to chose an inconsistent option.

B: But I didn't choose to be poor, lonely and miserable! Why can't I just "decide" to be a millionaire now?

A: In theory you can.

B: (thinks really hard)

B: .... no it doesn't work!!! I'm still poor, lonely and miserable!

A: The issue is that you have beliefs about what is possible and impossible about this world. You don't believe that a poor person can just magically think themselves into being rich and suddenly get a million dollars.

B: That's not true! Why are you so sure I don't believe in such magical thinking?

A: If you believed in this magical thinking, you'd already be a millionaire now.

B: Are you gaslighting me saying that I "lack faith"? Don't give me that bullshit!

A: OK, so you honestly believe you can become a millionaire by just thinking?

B: Let's assume that, yes. Then why doesn't it work?

A: Because you actually don't want to be a millionaire.

B: You're gaslighting me again!!

A: I'm just saying either you believe you have can change your circumstances but you don't decide to change, or you believe you don't have that ability. Either way, you made a choice in your belief system that is inconsistent with being a millionaire.

Apparitions

Q: If time and space don't exist in spirit, why the need for "apparitions" in a particular 3d space?

A: To make clear it isn't "merely" a figment of one's imagination. Going through the external stimulus makes it clear.
